Meadows Apartments Affordable Housing
Meadows Apartments provides 30 affordable apartments ranging in size from studio to three bedrooms. Developed for Second Step Housing in partnership with the Vancouver Housing Authority, these affordable apartments were designed to support residents with physical or developmental disabilities, households with children, veterans, and youth and families coming out of homelessness. Resident amenities include a community room, laundry resident services, an outdoor terrace, playground, and community gardens. Designed and built to Evergreen Sustainable Development Standards, the apartments focus on energy efficiency.

Indoor and outdoor spaces were designed to help residents form connections. In addition to individual residences, Meadows creates a sense of home by providing a community room with kitchen and fireplace with visual links to the outdoors, garden spaces, a playground, and quieter landscaped areas.
