Marin Municipal Water District Water Quality Laboratory

Corte Madera, CA

A state-of-the-art 5,200 square foot facility consists of laboratory and administrative space for up to seven lab personnel.

Laboratory personnel have separate work areas in an administrative portion of the building, a strategy that allows lab functions to occur in the higher cost lab areas, while office and administrative functions can be housed in lower cost space. An important benefit is that employees have comfortable space for non-analytical activities. The lab utilizes sustainable design principles such as daylighting and sustainably produced building materials.
