The building design addresses both the new “Main Street” and central park. The main entry is at the corner, with a significant architectural element that anchors one end of the street, recalling the Portland tradition of strong corner elements at major transit intersections. A thin, transparent bridge connection links the east and west wings, affording natural light and a view to the south terrace and the grand heritage tree which the project was planned around and to the public park at the north.
